The movie "Prisoners," starring Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis, Melissa Leo, Paul Dano, Maria Bello and Terrence Howard, has been filming OTP (outside the perimeter) lately but plans to movie in-town next. That has possible implications for traffic, as movie productions often do.
"Captive Productions, LLC will be filming scenes for the motion picture entitled 'Prisoners' at the Atlanta Medical Center - South Campus located at 1170 Cleveland Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30344.
Our filming dates are tentatively scheduled for March 19-22, 2013. We will be filming exterior scenes at this location which will require us to temporarily close Cleveland Avenue.
They have recently been shooting in Tucker, too.
Many of you have a desire to become active in the film and video community when you get your license. There are currently five films scouting locations and going into production here. It's a great industry, get your skills ready.
