Word for the day: METACOGNITION

This is an interesting word:  "Meta cog ni tion", and it means how well a student really understands the material they are studying.  Often, we think we understand the work we are studying, however, we can be a little off-base.  Going into a test, you may find yourself underprepared and overconfident about the information.  Next time you are taking a test, after it is over, guess what grade you will make.  When the test comes back,  see if you were underprepared and overconfident.
