We found the perfect client today for color.....

check this out..  A lady came in and was perfect to continue the class Mr. Haney was giving to the freshmen about color..  Look at this:

First, applying the bleach to bring the color up from what she walked in the door with... very dark yellow/orange.

After washing off the bleach to see what is now the color of her hair.

the finished product and as you can see,
BIG SMILES FROM THE CLIENT.
As she said, "I'll be back".

The best words you can hear as a barber.

Little men also need big haircuts....

Tami goes to work on the smallest of them all......

Mbolahan's mom comes to visit....

Look what we're doing today....

Everybody is cutting hair.  Seniors, Intermediates, Freshmen....

Freshman Class works on Color processes with Mr. Haney

Explaining the steps to perfect color is Mr. Haney.  He has a great way to explain how to get to the right level of color and not to damage the hair.

Know what you Know ??? Huh??

Take Matters into Your Own Hands
Know what you know, and be sure others do to. Career training only works if you use it, and sometimes you have to find opportunities to let your training shine through. The first step in this is to know what you know, and know what you do not know. Then, use that knowledge to discern when you have an idea or opinion that should be noted. Have the courage to note it. Show your superiors what you can do or else all the training is for nothing.

Did you know.....

Prior to 1950, there were four manufacturers of barber poles in the United States. In 1950, William Marvy of St. Paul, Minnesota, started manufacturing barber poles. Marvy made his 50,000th barber pole in 1967, and, by 2010, over 82,000 had been produced.[5]
