The racing season got off to a great start for the Great Clips Racing team this weekend as Daryn Pittman, driver for Kasey Kahne Racing, unloaded at Volusia Speedway and proved to all that he is a major contender for the 2013 championship. In the opening night, Pittman stole the show by capturing the victory and followed up that performance by claiming second and fifth-place finishes the next two nights. By scoring the most points over the three-day event, Pittman and the No. 9 Great Clips team were crowned overall champions of the UNOH DIRTcar Nationals.
